SNAP Food Loss Benefit Replacement
Program Description
One‑time replacement of up to one month of SNAP benefits when food is lost due to a disaster or 4+ hour power outage.
Eligibility
Current SNAP recipients who experienced eligible food loss during a qualifying incident or outage.
Application Process
Submit a replacement request to DCFS within the stated window after the incident. Provide your case information and a brief statement of loss; DHS may require additional verification.
