Program Description
USDA’s Rural Business Development Grants (RBDG) provide grants to public bodies and nonprofits to support small rural businesses through technical assistance, training, and infrastructure. Territories including the U.S. Virgin Islands are eligible through the Florida & Virgin Islands RD State Office.
Current Status
- FY25 national window was posted with state office deadlines around Feb 28, 2025. Status varies by year and by state office.
Eligibility
- Applicants: Public bodies, nonprofits, Tribes serving rural areas. Funds benefit small and emerging businesses with <50 employees and <$1M in gross revenue.
