Program Description

CDBG‑DR funds long‑term disaster recovery activities that address unmet needs after major disasters. In the USVI, the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHFA) administers CDBG‑DR across housing, infrastructure, public services, and economic revitalization.

Eligibility

• Subawards to eligible government and nonprofit entities; certain programs serve residents and businesses affected by Hurricanes Irma/Maria and subsequent disasters

• Review active programs and notices on the USVI CDBG‑DR site and follow program‑specific instructions
